Sebastian Inlet

Fantastic snook fishing can be found at Sebastian Inlet

Indian River County, a.k.a the Treasure Coast, is home to some of the best fishing & surfing in all of Florida. Sebastian is known as one of the best snook spots in the world, while nearby Vero Beach is known as the "Gateway to the Tropics."

The Treasure Coast is not known for all the hussle & bustle of a major city. There are no major theme parks, or attractions. Instead there is a remarkably pristine beauty.

Sebastian Inlet Recreation Area attracts over 1/2 million visitors each year, and boasts the best surfing on the east coast of Florida. The surrounding waters also provide for fantastic fishing. Whether your fishing the flats, riverbeds & inlets, or off the beach, you're likely to make the big catch here in Sebastian.

The Center for the Arts, located on the beautiful waterfront in Riverside Park, is a neoclassical building encompassing 31,000 square feet. More than 100,000 visitors annually enjoy exhibitions of international, national, and regional importance. The center also presents films, lectures, and seminars and operates the largest museum art school in Florida.

The McLarty Treasure Museum in the Sebastian Inlet State Park Recreation Area, exhibits a treasure and other artifacts from a 1715 Spanish shipwreck, and offers information on the Ais Indians, the region's earliest inhabitants. Also in Sebastian, Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum on US 1 displays authentic Spanish treasure, artifacts, and jewelry.

Beautiful Vero Beach

Enjoy the beautiful, unspoiled Vero Beach

The McKee Botanical Gardens, an 18-acre tropical garden, restores the natural beauty to the developed Florida landscape. The McKee Botanical Garden once again has the potential to become one of the country's finest botanical gardens through support of the community and Indian River Trust Co.

Vero Beach is the place for outdoor Florida fun, many parks & recreational areas cover this "Gateway to the Tropics." If you enjoy professional baseball, make sure to visit Dodgertown, the LA Dodgers Spring Training Camp.

Vero Beach is surrounded by water, and has many great watersports to offer. Experience skiing, boating, surfing... along with some of the best fishing around. Spend your next vacation on the majestic and unspoiled Treasure Coast.
